Lovely away from it all place to have a great time with family and friends
Nice large property to have a relaxing time away from a busy 4th July in Oahu. It was exceptionally hot and humid when we visited so we had to spend more time in the pool to cool off then we expected. The rain also brought the bugs out!

Absolutely first class house. Perfect location to escape the sometimes chaotic downtown. Provided a home base for daily excursions and resort like accommodations upon returning. Unwinding with some pool time and drinks on the patio after dinner was the perfect way to end the day. Would highly recommend to all!

Our family, parents 2 daughter and there husbands and our just turned 1 year grand daughter had a wonderful time, loved the pool, the privacy of the 3 bedrooms and bathrooms, although the main bathroom was used by all, was awesome, had a few problems with the A/c unit but was sorted as quickly as possible. Living space was great having 2 kitchens areas was awesome as my daughter had a separate area for all the need of her daughter. Over all had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this home.

We had our family of 9 stay here. The home was perfect. We loved the kitchen for stay in meals. The backyard and pool were fabulous. We will definitely be coming back! Lise, the property manager was wonderful! She gave us excellent recommendations for activities, dining and adventures. We give this home 5 stars! You won’t be disappointed if you book this home!

This home is secluded, nearest neighbor about a quarter mile away. Wild pigs and peacocks make daily rounds through the property. A slice of Hawaiian country at its best. The nearest town is Haleiwa about 15-20 minutes away. The drive from the main road to the house is about a mile, all dirt and at times leaves you wondering if you should have rented a Jeep but our Rav4 did just fine. We had five adults, three children and one infant a the house which worked out very well. The large combined kitchen/dining/living room area provided ample space for everyone to gather and stare at their cell phones. If you are looking to relax in seclusion, enjoy remote beaches and the small towns of the North Shore I recommend this house. If you are looking to sightsee, especially around Honolulu / Pearl Harbor just know you are an hour away. Although we did do quite a bit of driving I would definitely stay here again.

We had such a wonderful time on our vacation! The house is PERFECT and the pool is amazing! We had multiple generations - 12 years to 74 years and everyone loved using the pool. The island has so much to offer and the property manager is so sweet and helpful - great restaurant and other recommendations and so easy to get a hold of. Great location and very spacious for 10 of us to not feel on top of each other. Definitely recommend and would love to come back!!

We had a great stay. When we were there the games closet was full of stuff, I wish we kept the tennis racquets at home. The kitchen was well equipped too. The pool was in excellent shape. Google has no clue on how to navigate to and from the house but that was true for a lot of places we visited on the island. It would be good to do some research or get good directions before visiting (maybe signs?). Each room did have a good fan which helped pull in the outside air. Lots of different fruit trees and a great private place for star gazing.

House was a perfect size for 2 small families with kids. The pool kept everyone busy along with the kayak and paddle board. Beds were comfy!! The property has remodeled areas, spacious. We loved that we can cook and barbecue.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Very spacious and clean. The kitchen is large and has everything you would need during your stay. The home has an amazing pool that was enjoyed by everyone. The backyard is also an extra bonus. The house is located in a great location. Close to Waikiki, diamond head, shops and restaurants. We drove to other parts of the island and the drives were not too far. Our host was very attentive and if anything came up, they were quick to respond. They also provided great recommendations on activities to do while we were there. I would definitely recommend this home if you’re looking for something special while you’re in Oahu.

We stayed at this for our special family trip. We were very glad we decided to stay this house. The house was beautiful, the view from outside was outstanding, and there were everything that we needed, and we wanted to stay more. Just like some people reviewed, there were some unclean spots, but as soon as I told caretaker, he took care of it, so it didn’t bother us at all. We would like to go back to this house again, and I highly recommend it for everyone.

Everything we needed for our family of 6. Plenty of space to spread out! Can’t beat the view and beach access. We were a little warm without A/C at times but there are plenty of fans in the house and a great cross-breeze. We were here over Easter and had beautiful weather.

This was our first experience renting a house instead of staying at hotels as we have done in the past. The experience was wonderful, we have no complaints, right from booking to checking out, it was a seamless and trouble free. The house is gorgeous, breathtaking backyard with a fantastic pool and fire pit. We loved our time there and were sad to when we had to leave.

We couldn’t have picked a more perfect location for both site seeing and relaxing. With access to an almost private beach area, swim areas, tide pools to explore, turtles that visited every day, whales that performed off shore every evening and amazing sunsets....perfect! Oh, did I mention the wonderful fishing right out your back door, our grandsons were thrilled! The size of the house was perfect for our family with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay..... the house was a perfect match for our family. Lise was extremely nice and a pleasure to deal with. She seemed genuinely concerned with making our experience a great one.

Our family met in Hawaii for a vacation. There was a large group of us and the house, with its bedroom setup, was perfect! Plenty of space and bathrooms. The common areas were great and provided fantastic space for eating and playing games. Location is nice and close to beaches for snorkeling and surfing. The house managers and team we interacted with during booking and the stay were very professional and kind to us. Lise and Nancy specifically went above and beyond to make it a great week for our family. We can’t wait to come back!

This house is stunning. I worried that there were not many reviews on this house. I don’t know why because this house deserves full recognition! The owners have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Everything in the kitchen was fully equipped, organized and neat. Every plate and utensil had its place. The master bedroom was beautiful with plenty of room to spread out. The bathroom in the 2nd bedroom is a little different, though our son and future daughter-in-law were not complaining. When they showered, everything in the bathroom would get wet, including the toilet paper. Many nights my husband and I would sit on the wrap around deck, listening to the waves and marveling at our good fortune. Yes I would love to come back to this house. It is a splurge but we are at an age where we take SKI vacations (spending kids inheritance)! Thank You.

I rented this lovely updated Kahala home together with my sister-in-law for a girls' trip with our daughters. The house is beautifully updated with plenty of bathrooms (a necessity when traveling with teens) and kitchen space. The piano and game closet supplied lots of fun activities on the rainy day of our trip, while the surfboards and pool floats helped maximize sunshine and beach-time! Lise supplied extra-mile service with regular communication and a check-in midweek. We would gladly return the next time we come to Oahu!

My husband and family loved the marina access. The house came with a double kayak and a stand up paddle board. My husband took the kids out for rides all through the day. The house is very spacious and airy. Left the screen doors closed, not the glass doors, for wonderful cross ventilation. Nice size kitchen with extra refrigerator in garage. Great gas grill and ample indoor as well as outdoor dining options. Quiet neighborhood with Shopping close by.

The house is very comfortable and nicely appointed. It's in a quiet neighborhood, a short walk to the beach. The pool and outdoor area in the rear were very nice and there's a covered lanai if you don't want to get too much sun. The outdoor shower in the master bathroom might not be for everyone, but it's unique.

We spent a week in this two bedroom home with another couple. The house was spotless and well furnished. It has a fantastic view. Is adjacent to two beautiful beaches. Getting in and out of the driveway is pretty tricky. That was the only negative about the home. It was conveniently located near good restaurants, stores and shopping. I would highly recommend this place for a stay on Oahu.

Our whole family relaxed and enjoyed our week together. The home is conveniently located to the beach, shopping, restaurants, and in a gorgeous neighborhood - great for taking scenic walks / runs to Diamond Head. Our son and daughter-in-law stayed upstairs in the beautiful master with a balcony and had their son stay across the hall in the Pack and Play provided by the house. Our daughter and her fiancé had bedrooms, one overlooking the pool, on the main floor and shared a bathroom. We stayed in the basement master which was set up like an ohana, complete with sink, refrigerator and coffee maker. Our balcony opened up to the pool. The basement had a second full bath. We loved playing with our grandson downstairs with the pool table, huge blackboard and kids-safe darts. There was a separate tv room in the basement as well. The first floor kitchen had a huge butcher block counter where we enjoyed eating breakfast together. The refrigerator and freezer are huge! We enjoyed lounging on the two couches playing games at night in the first floor family room. The dining room off the kitchen was beautiful as well. There was even a baby gate available, which was quite useful to keep our grandson from wanting to go downstairs all the time - he loved the basement! We enjoyed many afternoons lounging by the pool and swimming laps. There were many pool toys and beach towels. We loved having a full-size washer and dryer, drying rack and ironing board. Lise was a wonderful host. She was available by email to answer questions before we arrived and texted us when we arrived and offered great local tips for sites and fun things to do. We would love to live in this house forever, and would definitely stay here again.

Our stay in Hawaii Kai was outstanding. The house is well kept and had everything we needed. The property was clean and ample size rooms. The house is bigger than in the pictures. Outside the patio was perfect for coffee watching the sunrise and drinks in the sun by the pool. The pool was great temperature and very pretty blue tiles. Waikiki wasn’t a far drive away so you can easily get to the hustle and bustle but then return to this great property to relax. Very quiet nights and evenings. Not a party area in the slightest. Close by were plenty of shops, sites to see and stores for food. Perfect location. Really enjoyed our time and would stay here again.

Fabulous peaceful, gorgeous setting with pool on calm marina; close to grocery and Longs Drugs (the local CVS), Costco and restaurants and convenient to all we wanted to do; fun amenities like pool with a view; 2 person kayak and paddle board; great house layout with all we needed. The owner is wonderful to work with; so personable; an instant friend. It truly was for us, the perfect home away from home. I gave a 5 star rating for all of the above, but I know some readers would then be disappointed it wasn't like the Ritz. So I did want to share some details on the property to help with expectations. This is Hawaii on the water. So metal fixtures will naturally corrode; no big deal. While A/C is listed as an amenity, realize these are room air conditioners in the bedrooms only, but ceiling fans throughout and some floor fans. Like many of the homes in Hawaii, this house makes good use of cross-ventilation. So when home, open all sliders, solid front door (there's also a screened front door), interior doors and louvers, and the tradewinds will cool the house beautifully. when not home, keep interior doors and louvers open. On the occasion when the trades aren't flowing, jump in the pool to cool off, turn on the celing and floor fans and you should be comfortable. The photos on the listing is accurate, though what I couldn't tell from the photos is that when you enter the house, you enter the big living area in sort of a 7 shape, with the 2 seating areas, one with the TV and the other with the work table in different parts of the same room. We spent most of our time in the kitchen/dining room but mostly on the lanai. With these details in mind, we hope you enjoy your stay there as much as we did.

Our stay at the Ranch was amazing!! We stayed for two weeks visiting our son that moved to Oahu last year. The location is perfect if you want to be away from it all! We already have done all the tourist things before and it was nice to be away from all the people on Waikiki! The walk to the road from the house is a good mile and even further to the beach. We recommend driving down the road towards the Dillingham airfield. You can pull right up to the beach

We had a great time! The house is comfortable, was convenient for shopping, restaurants etc. Having the pool made it fun for our grandchildren who live nearby. The house was well appointed with appliances, linens etc. We had only one problem . The AC in the master bedroom did not seem to work for us. Response was quick regarding that. We would rent the house again!

We travel annually to Oahu, and this is our favorite place to stay on the island! The house is beautifully laid out and tastefully decorated, with all the amenities that will make your stay a pleasure. The lanais on all levels overlook the lovely backyard, and the salt-water pool is spacious and refreshing. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood within 15 minutes of Waikiki (check out our favorite restaurant, House Without a Key at the Halekulani Hotel), and is only five minutes from Interstate 1, making it very easy to get to all of the attractions on Oahu. The hosts are thoughtful and responsive, and it is always a joy to deal with them. We highly recommend this property for an amazing Hawaiian vacation!

Stars 5/5 Great house and accommodations and view, great location close to food, restaurants, and Hanauma Bay.
House was modern and new condition with good view of Hawaii Kai and back towards Waikiki. Room to spread out for four couples and four children (2-10 yr old). Private pool was a treat for the kids. There are good restaurants and takeout sources within five minutes, as well as a supermarket and Costco. We attended events in town and while traffic was heavy at peak times it always seemed to keep moving. Hanauma Bay is less than five minutes away and Sea Life Park, Waimanalo and Kailua were just beyond. There was room to easily park three vehicles on the property. Expect a steep driveway that is slippery when wet and covered with leaves. Street parking is available. Would try to stay here again on next visit to Honolulu.

Very modern home with everything one might need. Good for adults, not children. The deck offers magnificent views. Both Lanikai and Kailua beaches are a five minute walk away. Yes, driveway is very difficult to get in and out of. One needs a spotter and then it works. Great walks, easy trip to downtown, local market is great.

This is a lovely house, very clean and well maintained. Our only comments. We could never get the dishwasher to work. The pilot light on the hot water tank kept going out. But we got a call back right away on New Year’s Eve telling us how to fix it. And one small tv in the whole house.

The house and views were beautiful. Everything was clean and my whole family of 8 was comfortable. The location was great because it’s away from the crowds and noise of downtown but still quick and easy to get to. We had no issues with the house and would love to stay here again on our next visit!

Something not to miss is the sunset while visiting Hawaii, this house has great view of that, very warm pool that's naturally heated, I had to ask Craig if the heater was on, it has everything you need while visiting. Only 7 minutes to Hanauma bay, 20 minutes to Waikiki, there's a Costco nearby. Great neighborhood, with a view of Diamond Head in the back ground, imagine the Sunset with Diamond Head, few clouds, unreal. The waterfall back there is nice, but is on a timer and only got to see it once. Not a big deal, We really lived the life of the rich but not famous for 5 nights, I will return one day. Thanks to Laycie who took care of all the reservation side, Craig who made sure we were taken care of during our stay. Thank you very much, it was a vacation experience of a lifetime. By the way, the parties that we brought to Hawaii are spoiled for life now that we've stayed here, it was there first time in Hawaii.

The house is everything that it is advertised to be. Views are spectacular from every room and the pictures on the site do justice to reality. Both beaches are an easy 5 minute walk and are lovely without the crazy crowds of Waikiki. As referenced in a few reviews backing out from driveway is a little difficult because of a blind turn but easily mitigated by deploying a spotter to help who can then jump in when you are on the road. I highly, highly recommend this property. Great value for the location and quality of the home!

We were here in July 2017 and had an incredible time! We love the property, the pool, and the view. The local Hawaii Kai area is great and it's a perfect place for excursions around the island. We would definitely rent this property again

This is a beautiful home with a spectacular view. It is in a great location for the beach. The house and furnishing are very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. All of the amenities you need for a family stay are available. The view from the master bath tub cannot be beat. Laycie and Craig were very helpful in making our stay an enjoyable one. We can't wait to return in the future.

We were very pleased with this house. View was terrific and house was all that was advertised. Got a little hot inside in the afternoon when the sun was beating in. There were no shades to put down to block the suns rays. Would have thought the owner would want to save AC costs. Great sun sets which we thoroughly enjoyed. The house was well laid out. Just watch the last step going down the stairs from the kitchen level to the mid-level living room. My wife took a spill and two of us almost fell by missing the last step. It blends in perfectly with the floor and the railing runs out on the previous step which gives you the impression that you have reached the floor before actually reaching it. However, these are small things and overall a great house. FYI driveway is very steep, but that is what gives you the views. Grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the pool as well. Location is great too. Costco very close and Safeway. Hanuama Bay is only 5 minutes away and fabulous. Get there before 7am! Diamond Head not too far away either, ditto Waikiki. We are happy we chose this house. We were able to reach Craig whenever we needed to ask him a question.
